Terms of Service
Last updated: 30 May 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of https://alprys.com and all related websites, applications, APIs, and subdomains operated by alprys (collectively, the "Services"). By accessing or using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms in their entirety. If you do not agree, you must not use the Services.
1. Services
alprys is a personally-operated platform providing web tools, applications, experimental features, file transfer services, and account-based systems. The Services include, but are not limited to:
- A user account system enabling access to features via third-party authentication providers;
- A file transfer service enabling the temporary upload, storage, and sharing of files.
alprys reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Services at any time, with or without notice, for any reason including maintenance, legal compliance, or operational changes.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years of age to use the Services. By using the Services, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement. If you are under 18 years of age, you represent that you have obtained the consent of your parent or legal guardian to use the Services. alprys reserves the right to terminate accounts found to be in violation of this requirement.
3. Accounts
3.1 Account Creation & Authentication
Certain features of the Services require the creation of a user account. alprys employs a passwordless authentication system. Accounts are created and accessed exclusively through supported third-party OAuth providers, such as Google. alprys does not collect, store, or process passwords at any point.
By linking your account to a third-party authentication provider, you authorise alprys to receive and store the profile information made available by that provider, subject to your privacy settings with that provider. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your authentication provider credentials. alprys is not responsible for any unauthorised access resulting from a compromise of your third-party account.
3.2 Account Responsibility
You are solely responsible for all activity conducted through your account. You must not share access to your account with any third party, use another person's account without their authorisation, or take any action intended to circumvent access controls.
You must promptly notify alprys via https://alprys.com/contact if you become aware of any unauthorised use of your account or any other security breach.
3.3 Account Ownership & Usernames
Accounts and usernames are provided for identification and usability purposes only. They remain the exclusive property of alprys and do not confer any ownership or proprietary rights upon users. You may not sell, transfer, assign, or otherwise dispose of your account or username.
alprys reserves the full right to manage, modify, or take action on accounts at its sole discretion, including but not limited to:
- Changing, resetting, or reclaiming usernames that are inactive, misleading, abusive, impersonating, or otherwise in violation of these Terms;
- Resolving disputes involving impersonation, naming conflicts, or trademark concerns;
- Modifying, suspending, or permanently terminating accounts for security, legal, operational, or policy reasons.
3.4 Account Data & Deletion
Upon account deletion, your personal data will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Deletion of your account does not guarantee the immediate removal of all associated data where retention is required by law or legitimate operational necessity.
4. File Transfer Service
4.1 Temporary Storage
The file transfer service allows users to upload files for temporary storage and sharing. All uploaded files are stored on a strictly temporary basis. Files are subject to automatic deletion following a defined retention period, which may vary depending on service configuration or tier. alprys provides no guarantee of indefinite file availability and strongly advises users to maintain their own copies of any data uploaded to the service.
4.2 User Responsibility for Uploaded Content
You are solely and exclusively responsible for any files or content you upload to the Services. By uploading content, you represent and warrant that:
- You are the owner of the content or have all necessary rights, licences, and permissions to upload and share it;
- The content does not infringe the intellectual property rights, privacy rights, or any other rights of any third party;
- The content is not unlawful, harmful, defamatory, obscene, fraudulent, threatening, abusive, or otherwise objectionable under applicable law;
- The content does not contain malware, viruses, or any other malicious or harmful code;
- The upload and sharing of the content complies with all applicable laws and regulations, including those of the Republic of Turkey.
4.3 Limited Licence
By uploading files to the Services, you grant alprys a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to store, transmit, and make available that content solely for the purpose of operating the file transfer service. This licence terminates upon deletion of the file, whether by you, automatically, or by alprys.
4.4 Content Removal
alprys reserves the right to remove any uploaded file at any time, without prior notice, if it reasonably believes the content violates these Terms, applicable law, or poses a risk to the Services, its users, or any third party. alprys is not obligated to review all uploaded content but may do so for legal compliance and safety purposes.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree to use the Services only for lawful purposes and in a manner consistent with all applicable local, national, and international laws and regulations. You must not use the Services:
- For any unlawful purpose or in furtherance of any illegal activity;
- To upload, transmit, or distribute content that infringes the intellectual property or other rights of any person or entity;
- To attempt to gain unauthorised access to any system, network, account, or data;
- To distribute malware, ransomware, spyware, viruses, or any other malicious or harmful code;
- To harass, abuse, threaten, or exploit any person;
- To impersonate any person or entity, or to falsely represent your affiliation with any person or entity;
- To engage in any conduct that places an unreasonable burden on our infrastructure or interferes with other users' enjoyment of the Services;
- To circumvent, disable, or otherwise interfere with any security-related features of the Services.
Violation of this section may result in immediate account suspension or termination and may be reported to the relevant authorities.
6. Intellectual Property
All content, branding, code, design, trademarks, service marks, and other intellectual property comprising or associated with the Services are the exclusive property of alprys or its licensors, unless expressly stated otherwise. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use the Services for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms. You must not reproduce, modify, distribute, publicly display, reverse-engineer, or create derivative works of any part of the Services without prior written permission from alprys.
7. Third-Party Services
The Services integrate with and may link to third-party services, including authentication providers (such as Google) and advertising services (such as Google AdSense). alprys does not control these third-party services and is not responsible for their content, practices, or policies. Your use of third-party services is governed solely by their respective terms of service and privacy policies. We encourage you to review those policies before connecting your accounts or providing data to such services.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without any representations or warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory. alprys expressly disclaims all warranties, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and uninterrupted or error-free operation. We do not warrant that the Services will meet your requirements, be available at all times, or be free of errors, viruses, or other harmful components.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, alprys shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of or inability to use the Services, including but not limited to:
- Loss of data, files, or content (including uploaded files subject to temporary retention);
- Service interruptions, downtime, or technical failures;
- Unauthorised access to or alteration of your data;
- Any conduct or content of third parties on or through the Services.
This limitation applies regardless of the theory of liability and even if alprys has been advised of the possibility of such damages.
10. Termination
alprys reserves the right to suspend or permanently terminate your access to the Services at any time, with or without notice, for any reason, including but not limited to:
- Violation of these Terms or any applicable policy;
- Conduct that alprys reasonably determines to be harmful to users, third parties, or the Services;
- Legal or regulatory requirements;
- Operational, security, or technical reasons.
Upon termination, your right to access the Services ceases immediately. Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination shall do so, including but not limited to Sections 5, 6, 8, 9, and 11.
11. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Turkey, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms or the Services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Turkey. If you are an EEA resident, mandatory consumer protection provisions applicable in your country of residence continue to apply.
12. Changes to Terms
alprys reserves the right to amend these Terms at any time. The date of the most recent revision will be indicated at the top of this page. Where changes are material, we will endeavour to provide reasonable notice. Your continued use of the Services following the effective date of any amended Terms constitutes your acceptance of those Terms. If you do not agree to the amended Terms, you must cease using the Services.
13. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, that provision shall be severed from the remainder of the Terms, which shall continue in full force and effect.
